Funerals & Condolences
Sadly, as well as celebrating the happy and joyful moments in life with calligraphy pieces, I am often asked to commemorate the end of life. Having personal experience of working with people at the end of their life, I fully comprehend the distress and emotional upset of these experiences. If there is any way I can help you to demonstrate your respect to your loved one, please do not hesitate to talk me. I can produce hand crafted and personalised calligraphy works as unique keepsakes.
Memorial Song
When a very special person in your life has passed away, you may wish to have their favourite song, poem or any meaningful words recreated in a piece of calligraphy. This may be as a comfort to you, or perhaps as a thoughtful gift to a grieving relative who may appreciate an everlasting memory from a specific moment from their dear one’s life. I understand this is a sad and distressing time, so I can communicate with you in a sensitive manner to produce a piece of calligraphy you can treasure always.
Memorial Poem
Do Not Stand at my Grave and Weep by Mary Elizabeth Frye. An example of a beautiful keepsake, a poem that may have been part of the funeral service or other wording. Perhaps something to reflect upon in the years to come or a meaningful gift.
Entries in Books of
Remembrance
After the death of a loved one, I am often asked to write a few lines in a memorial book as an everlasting keepsake. Small hand painted emblems can be added to remember something personal from their life. At this very sad time, I can help to retain the memory of your loved one with words in a format that reflects their life.
